thank God for a blessing and pray for peace of a nation, this feast takes place
twice a year ( April 28 - 30 & September 22 - 24 ). Kagura, song and dancing
at shrines celebrating Shinto gods, is performed in public on a special stage
in the precincts of Naiku ( phone: 0596-24-1111 ). Also, leading schools from
all over Japan perform Noh play and Kyogen drama, or exhibit flower arrangements
as a religious offering.
