 | Hassaku
Sangu, worshiping at Ise Shrine on August 1, has been transmitted from generation
to generation. Now people dressed in yukata, light summer cotton kimono, gather
around Geku to visit and pray on August 1. This gives a touch of elegance to an
atmosphere of Ise, and makes a summer evening more attractive. There are also
some events including a yukata contest on a roadside square in front of Geku.
