The 300m long street from here to the gate of the Outer Shrine is called Kamiji-Dori, or the path along which the god comes and goes. In the myth, Tsukiyomi no Mikoto fell in love with the goddess of the Geku. When night came a part of the stone wall of the shrine changed into a white horse.
