Isshiki-Noh

Isshiki-Noh is performed by Waya school. Waya school is also one of three Noh companies in Ise. They moved to Isshiki village in the Muromachi period, established a shrine and performed Noh play at a festival. Since then, their Noh play has been performed for 450 years. Isshiki-Noh is designated as intangible folk cultural assets. It is performed at Isshiki-cho community hall on March 11 or on the following Sunday.

Access
1)Take bus No 04 from Ise-shi station, get off at Isshiki-cho stop ( 15 minutes ) and walk 5 minutes.
