In Ise, there have been three Noh companies that have been performing Noh play in Ise Shrine since the Kamakura period. One of three companies is Katsuta school that performs Noh play called Tori-Noh. It's designated as Ise-shi's intangible folk cultural assets. Tori - Noh play is performed on Sunday previous to Feb. 25 at Eitsu Shrine and at Tori-cho community center.
